Anna Bailes, Ahna Buntrock, and Kelli Hancock are all senior biomedical engineering student-athletes at Washington University in St. Louis. Each team member comes with her own unique experiences and specific fields of interest. They are very excited to have the opportunity to work with Dr. Kerri Morgan on this project!
Anna Bailes
Anna has a strong interest in rehab engineering and physical therapy. She brings with her a strong clinical interest to the team, and has worked at the Rehab Institute of Chicago and a musculoskeletal soft tissue lab. Anna is also a member of the varsity track and field team at Washington University in Saint Louis.
Ahna Buntrock
Ahna has dedicated her summers to working in the division of engineering at Mayo Clinic. There, she collaborated with a team of engineers to on multiple testing and validation plans in order to improve a deep brain stimulation program . Ahna also plans to attend medical school, and is a member of the varsity track and field and cross country teams.
Kelli Hancock
Through her work as a research and development intern, Kelli has gained experience on the design process of medical devices. In addition, Kelli brings an interest in software development to the team. She is also on the varsity track and field team at Washington University in Saint Louis.
